Red Sky At Write
Mass psychosis. Some sci-fi, Punch & Judy, zombie media culture type squander that every single human bought into. I wish that I could have rolled this poem up into a cannon and fired it into everyones heads. Right or wrong, left or right, up or down, I don't care. Know that you're not a number, you can make your own decisions. Blindness is negligence, please think before you follow, always.

Read my piece, it's the right thing to do :)
Eyes nationwide fixate upon the dull pixel screen.

The media mascot mumbles his shock and awe scheme.

Like a hypnotist’s pendulum, or as a fortune teller told.

Paranoia propaganda, it’s the only thing they’re sold.

For what does a commoner know? Nothing too much.

Weak sheep without shepherds, so they’re treated as such.

Hard times make hard men, and hard men shape the world.

Good times make men weak, who let their democracy unfurl.

It’s time to rise up, those who wish to be strong.

Seize all your freedoms before they’re well and truly gone.

Laugh at the puppeteers, who cause endless strife.

Cut the fear stricken strings tethered to your life.

Cause you’ve only got one, it’s best to remember.

Three years passed now they’re gone forever.

Idly watching as our existence be mandated.

It’s the right thing to do, even that was simulated.

They’re human, like us, at the end of the day.

So what importance has their word, truth in what they say?

For those who have been imprinted upon, re-open your minds.

Look away from your screens and go outside.

Ignore the conceited, for they won’t change stance.

Work upon yourself, while you still have a chance.

Go out for lunch, browse a few stores.

Make connections with those you haven’t before.

Take up a hobby, join a club.

Embrace all your friends, and the family you love.

Be the person you want to see in those that surround.

Watch happiness leak into the world around.
